Annie Comperchio is an artist and documentary photographer based on the Leelanau Peninsula in Michigan.

She holds a BA in Public Relations from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and carries the Rotary Club Humanitarian Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity.

She has been published in two New York Times bestselling cookbooks for involvement in food production and by name in the April 2023 edition of Harper’s Bazaar Korea.

Leelanau County is ancestral land of the Anishinabek, known as the three fires confederacy of the Ojibwe, Odawa and Potawatomi
