Sewing Lessons

$90 for three hours of instruction

Learn to read Patterns. With the foundation of basic pattern reading, not only will you be able to sew, but understand garment construction which will give you insight when choosing quality pieces and knowing how to tailor them.

Three hours at your own pace. One on one video calls to consult, plan, and walk through pattern construction*. In-person instruction available by hourly rate.

For video instruction, the consult will cover details and planning, and then a 15-30 minute check-in for both paper and fabric pattern cutting, and assistance through construction.

This includes taking measurements and access to ‘Learning To Sew’, a private collection of digital learning material. We will work together to choose an appropriate level pattern from a predetermined list of simple clothing and household items.

Machine available for in-person lessons only.

BYO supplies with guidance on fabric type.

*Garments will not be completed within 3 hours. This relies heavily on your ability to work independently for a cumulative 5-10 hours outside of instruction.
